Welterweight champion Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman will complete their trilogy at UFC 286 on March 18 in London, UFC president Dana White announced Saturday.

Edwards knocked out Usman to snatch the title last August in one of the most shocking moments in MMA history. Edwards was losing on the scorecards but landed a head kick with less than one minute left in the fifth round to put Usman away.

Usman, the UFC's former pound-for-pound king, defeated Edwards in 2015 when they fought for the first time.

Edwards, who lives in Birmingham, England, is riding an 11-fight unbeaten streak and hasn't fallen short since his first meeting with "The Nigerian Nightmare."

Usman is coming off his first loss since his second professional bout in 2013. Usman was 15-0 in the UFC before the Edwards defeat and was looking to tie Anderson Silva's record for the longest winning streak in promotion history.

UFC 286, the promotion's first pay-per-view event in the U.K. since 2016, will also feature a newly announced lightweight co-main event between Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev.
