Kevin Holland isn't retiring after all.

The UFC announced Holland will fight Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson in the main event of UFC Orlando on Dec. 3.

The fight announcement comes shortly after "Trailblazer" said he was retiring from mixed martial arts.

"I'm officially retired ... I'm retired from fighting. I had a good fight, good payday, I had a good run," Holland said on his "Real Eyes Recognize Podcast."

The Thompson opportunity was apparently too big for Holland to turn down, resulting in his short-lived retirement.

The 29-year-old Holland suffered a first-round submission loss to Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 279 after Chimaev was removed from the main event against Nate Diaz for missing weight.

Holland owns a 23-8 record with one no contest throughout his career.

Meanwhile, the No. 7-ranked Thompson is 16-6-1, losing his last two fights to Gilbert Burns and Belal Muhammad.
