Sanchez hospitalized due to COVID-19, says he has 'blood clots' in legs

Diego Sanchez revealed Friday he's hospitalized with pneumonia and blood clots in his legs due to COVID-19.

Sanchez said he was "feeling better" on Nov. 19 after contracting COVID-19.
The 39-year-old is unvaccinated and doesn't plan to receive the shot "at the current moment."

Sanchez last fought in September 2020. The UFC released him in April over a medical dispute. "The Nightmare" was in talks with Bare Knuckle FC last September.
