Report: Garbrandt, Kara-France finalizing non-title flyweight bout

A non-title UFC flyweight match between Cody Garbrandt and Kai Kara-France is being finalized for an event on Dec. 11, sources told ESPN's Brett Okamoto.
The promotion has not officially announced the bout or its potential location.
Garbrandt, the former bantamweight champion, will drop down from 135 to 125-pound competition. He recently lost via decision to Rob Font at a UFC Fight Night in May.
Garbrandt has lost four of his last five bouts with his most recent victory coming against Raphael Assuncao in 2020.
Kara-France won his last fight against Rogerio Bontorin via a first-round knockout at UFC 259. The New Zealander is 3-2 in his last five clashes, which includes a 2019 loss to current flyweight champion Brandon Moreno.
