Dominic Reyes defeated Chris Weidman by TKO less than two minutes into UFC Boston's main event at TD Garden on Friday.

Weidman managed a takedown early, but Reyes was quick to counter, and the fight was called just 1:43 into the first round.

After recovering from the takedown, Reyes found Weidman's chin with a perfect left-hand counter-punch, dropping the 185-pounder. Referee Herb Dean initially jumped in after Weidman went down but allowed the fight to continue for a few more seconds.

Weidman, a former middleweight champ, had nothing left, however, and after a few hammer fists, the bout was called in Reyes' favor.

The 103-second TKO was the fastest defeat of Weidman's career and his fifth loss in his last six fights, as his move up to light heavyweight has not gone as planned.

Reyes, the fourth-ranked contender in the UFC's light heavyweight division, ran his UFC record to 6-0 and took the opportunity to call out current champ Jon Jones during his postgame interview.
