50 Cent challenges 'Rampage' Jackson to fight
(Warning: Story contains coarse language)
Rapper 50 Cent raised some eyebrows recently when he shared a photo of himself sitting down with Bellator president Scott Coker. Now, it appears he's ready to go toe-to-toe with Quinton "Rampage" Jackson.
On Tuesday, 50 Cent called out Jackson in a since-deleted Instagram post (it can still be viewed on his Facebook page), suggesting he would fight the former UFC light heavyweight champion for the right price.
Jackson posted this in response:
It's unclear how serious 50 Cent is about fighting Jackson, but he did leave Coker with the impression that he's interested in getting involved with Bellator.
"I explained to him a lot about our fighter-recruitment system and how we build athletes and sign free agents," Coker told MMAjunkie's Steven Marrocco of their meeting. "He was interested. He had a lot of questions - a lot of good questions.
"I think he has a genuine interest in the business."
