The most anticipated rematch in UFC history earned the promotion nearly $8 million.
UFC 202 drew a gate of $7,692,010, good for fifth most in the company's history, according to MMAjunkie. The figure comes after lackluster ticket sales and a 40 percent price cut just days before the event. The official turnout was an audience of 15,539.
The event was hosted at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The UFC's last event of the year, UFC 207, will also take place at the venue.
Saturday's card was headlined by a rematch between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz, which McGregor won by majority decision.
