Cormier: Beating Jones at UFC 200 will be 'light work'

Daniel Cormier wasted little time giving UFC 200 opponent Jon Jones some bulletin board material following the announcement Wednesday that the two will fight at what is expected to be the biggest event in the promotion's history.

Cormier and Jones were slated to fight at last weekend's UFC 197, but Cormier withdrew with an injury. Instead, Jones fought and defeated Ovince Saint Preux via unanimous decision, showing a little rust in his first fight in more than a year.

"After what I saw last weekend. This will be light work," Cormier wrote on Instagram.

There's more than a little bad blood between Cormier and Jones, so it would be a shock if Cormier's proclamation is the tamest uttered by either fighter in the run up to their July 9 clash.
