Former England international Ashley Cole has terminated his contract through mutual agreement with Italian outfit AS Roma, the club announced Tuesday.
The 35-year-old left full-back made 11 appearances in Serie A, and added five appearances in the Coppa Italia and the Champions League.
"The club would like to thank Cole for his commitment during his stay in Rome and wish him the very best for his future career," Roma wrote on its official website.
Cole, a former Chelsea and Arsenal star, has been linked to a move to the LA Galaxy in Major League Soccer.
