Vancouver Whitecaps sign Deybi Flores from C.D. Motagua
The Vancouver Whitecaps have signed midfielder Deybi Flores on a multi-year contract out of Honduran outfit CD Motagua, the club announced Monday.
Flores spent the 2015 season on loan with the Whitecaps and now joins the team on a permanent basis. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"Deybi showed flashes of promise in his first year in MLS," Whitecaps head coach Carl Robinson said in a statement. "He has the tools to become a regular contributor on both ends of the pitch. We expect him to continue to grow and improve, and we're pleased to have him at the club."

Flores, 19, made 15 appearances last season with Vancouver, earning 11 starts. He was also called up to the Honduran national team in December, having played with the U-20 team at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
He also saw limited action in Vancouver's USL-team, Whitecaps FC 2.
