FC Dallas has selected University of Washington goalkeeper Ryan Herman with the 17th overall pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft.

Herman, 22, spent the last three seasons with Washington, but also spent two years with Santa Clara in 2011 and 2012. He featured in 18 games for the Huskies last season.
