German midfielder Julian Buescher is heading to RFK Stadium, after D.C. United traded targeted allocation money to Sporting Kansas City for the 11th overall pick.
D.C. United pick up the Syracuse University standout, adding a player who comes with the added premium of being a Generation Adidas signing. As such, he will not count towards his new team's salary cap.

Buescher is a well-rounded midfielder capable of defending, scoring and creating chances; in his 25 matches for Syracuse last season, Buescher scored eight goals and added 11 assists.
