The LA Galaxy announced on Wednesday the club has signed free-agent defender/midfielder Jeff Larentowicz, who last played with and captained the Chicago Fire in the 2015 MLS season.
"Jeff is an experienced and proven midfielder in our league," LA Galaxy manager Bruce Arena said in a statement. "He gives our team another veteran presence on the field and in the locker room. We are excited to add Jeff to our roster and look forward to his contribution this season."
The 32-year-old has made over 300 appearances in MLS over 11 seasons, scoring 37 goals and recording 18 assists.
