It's all but over, folks.
Portland Timbers forward Fanendo Adi scored against FC Dallas in the 55th minute of play to give his team a 1-0 lead away from home at Toyota Stadium, bringing the Western Conference Championship series to 4-1 on aggregate.
Adi picked up the ball in the box after a smart pass by Diego Valeri, and, free of his markers, turned and shot past Dallas 'keeper Jesse Gonzalez to steal a crucial away goal. As it stands, Dallas needs to respond with three unanswered goals just to force extra time.
