Down came the chainsaw at Providence Park as Timber Joey sliced off a piece of a large felled tree, indicating, as always, the scoring of a goal by the Portland Timbers.
In this particular case, the goal commemorated belonged to Timbers captain Liam Ridgewell who capitalized on a corner kick and jumped onto a loose ball in the box to open the scoring against FC Dallas.
Ridgewell's goal gave the Timbers a 1-0 lead in the first-leg match of the MLS Cup Playoffs Western Conference Championship.
