Toronto FC's Altidore, Gonzalez overcome injuries for MLS Cup
Toronto FC striker Jozy Altidore has been named to the bench for Sunday's MLS Cup final against the Seattle Sounders after suffering a quad strain in the club's regular-season finale.
There's more good news for the visitors. Omar Gonzalez will make his first appearance of the playoffs following his inclusion in Greg Vanney's starting XI. The U.S. international center-back was dealing with a hamstring worry.
Showtime.

Seattle will also welcome the return of a familiar face. After a scant two-minute substitute appearance in the Western Conference final against Los Angeles FC, Roman Torres was selected to replace Xavier Arreaga in the starting XI. Torres famously scored the winning penalty when the two sides met in the 2016 showpiece in Toronto.
THIS. IS. IT.
