VIDEO: Nigel de Jong delivers brutal tackle, doesn't earn red card

Nigel de Jong has arrived in Major League Soccer at long last.

It took six whole weeks for the notorious Dutch midfielder to announce his presence in MLS, but during the LA Galaxy's latest match against the Portland Timbers, De Jong made sure that presence was felt in crunching fashion.

Known for his brutal tackles, De Jong went in hard on Darlington Nagbe - leaving him injured and forcing him out of the game - but only got a yellow card for the challenge. The MLS Disciplinary Committee might have something to say about it later this week.
