Chris Davis and Wei-Yin Chen will test the free-agent market.
The pair have rejected their one-year, $15.8-million qualifying offers from the Baltimore Orioles, according to MLB.com's Brittany Ghiroli.
Baltimore will receive draft-pick compensation if either player signs with another club.
The 29-year-old Davis is one of the best available run producers on the market. He posted a .262/.361/.562 hitting line with 47 home runs and 117 RBIs in 2015.
Chen made 31 starts for the Orioles in 2015, posting an 11-8 record with a 3.34 ERA and 1.22 WHIP in 191 1/3 innings of work.
