Thousands of fans donned costumes at Citi Field on Halloween night as the New York Mets tragically fell 5-3 to the Kansas City Royals, but one fan saved their unique costume idea for Sunday's Game 5.
Matt Harvey is tasked with keeping the Mets' World Series hopes alive, and one fan is backing him above and beyond the rest.

Harvey was coined the "Dark Knight of Gotham" by Sports Illustrated when he was featured on the cover of the May 2013 issue, and the nickname has stuck ever since.

Mets fans are hoping the righty can turn in a superhero-like effort, and force a sixth game in the World Series on Tuesday in Kansas City.
