PHOTO: 'Marlins Man' makes appearance at 2nd straight WC game
Every baseball fan dreams of touring different ballparks and taking in postseason games during October, and one superfan is doing just that.
Laurence Leavy, also known as "Marlins Man," has built quite the reputation for appearing at various sporting events across North American, donning his Marlins gear wherever he goes. The Florida-based attorney took in Tuesday night's American League wild-card game at Yankee Stadium, and is perched behind the plate one night later at PNC Park for the NL wild-card clash.
Leavy has a busy sports itinerary this week, which also includes college football and possibly some WNBA action.
Leavy's appearance of the year, however, came at this year's 140th running of the Preakness Stakes, as evidenced by this photograph of him near the finish line.
