Adam Rosales's right knee nearly caused a bench-clearing brawl between the Tampa Bay Rays and Texas Rangers.
Tempers almost boiled over during the fourth inning Saturday when Rangers catcher Robinson Chirinos checked Rays baserunner Asdrubal Cabrera with a pick-off throw to second base.
Cabrera's hand appeared to run into Rosales's leg, prompting a brief shoving match, a Rangers challenge, and both dugouts to clear.

No punches were thrown, and Cabrera and Rosales appeared to make peace following the play. Cabrera told reporters after the game that his issue was with Rosales using his knee to block the path to the base.
The call on the field confirmed Cabrera was safe at second.
