The Los Angeles Dodgers will start the 2026 postseason in the NLDS as they attempt to win their third straight World Series.
The Dodgers clinched the bye following the Atlanta Braves' loss to the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday. The Braves are now locked into the NL's No. 3 seed, which means they'll start in the wild-card round Tuesday.
The Milwaukee Brewers can clinch the No. 1 seed with one more win or another loss by the Dodgers.
Los Angeles will open the NLDS at home Saturday, Oct. 3.
The extra time off will allow banged-up Dodgers stars such as Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, and Blake Snell to rest.
