The Minnesota Twins are calling up their top prospect Walker Jenkins.

Jenkins is expected to make his MLB debut against the Chicago White Sox on Friday, according to Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com.

Jenkins, who was taken with the fifth pick in the 2023 draft, is the No. 15-ranked prospect in baseball, per MLB Pipeline.

The 21-year-old outfielder has recorded 14 homers, 31 RBIs, and 17 stolen bases with a .976 OPS over 73 games between three minor-league levels this season. He's spent the majority of the time in Triple-A.

Jenkins will join Minnesota as the club looks to make a playoff push down the stretch. The Twins enter Thursday's action 6.5 games behind the White Sox for the AL Central lead and four games out of the final wild-card spot.
