Philadelphia Phillies reliever Brad Keller has a UCL tear in his right elbow, the team announced Thursday, according to Matt Gelb of The Athletic.

Keller will likely miss the rest of this season and a significant portion of 2027 if he undergoes surgery.

The 30-year-old owns a 4.02 ERA with 1.34 WHP and 9.2 K/9 over 32 appearances this season. He also leads the Phillies with 13 holds.

Philadelphia signed Keller to a two-year, $22-million contract during the offseason after he posted a career-best 2.07 ERA with 75 strikeouts across 69 2/3 innings with the Chicago Cubs last year.
