Bryce Harper will take part in Monday's Home Run Derby at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

"Derby at home? Sure, why not?" Harper wrote Thursday on Instagram.

It will be Harper's first Home Run Derby since he won the competition in 2018 as a member of the Washington Nationals. He also participated in 2013, finishing as the runner-up.

Harper joins the Tampa Bay Rays' Junior Caminero, New York Yankees' Ben Rice, Boston Red Sox slugger Willson Contreras, St. Louis Cardinals' Jordan Walker, and Kansas City Royals' Jac Caglianone as confirmed participants. Two open spots remain.

The 33-year-old Philadelphia Phillies slugger has 20 home runs on the season with a .264 batting average and .880 OPS.

Whether Harper's teammate Kyle Schwarber will join him in the Home Run Derby remains uncertain.
