The right-hander surrendered seven earned runs on six hits with one walk and three strikeouts over three innings. He now owns a 5.31 ERA with 1.36 WHIP in 39 innings (eight starts) this season.

Strider, who finished fourth in 2023 NL Cy Young voting, already missed the first five weeks of the season recovering from an oblique strain.

The 27-year-old underwent Tommy John surgery in 2019 and then, in 2024, needed another UCL procedure, which included an InternalBrace.
