The Cincinnati Reds placed star shortstop Elly De La Cruz on the 10-day injured list with a hamstring strain, the club announced Monday.
De La Cruz, who has never been on the IL before during his four-year career, pulled up running to first base on a hit in the fifth inning of Sunday's 6-4 win over the Atlanta Braves.
