The National League Cy Young Award race may be one of the most competitive we've seen in years, with five aces separating themselves from the pack two months into the season.
Philles stud Cristopher Sánchez is the current favorite at theScore Bet. He's +190 thanks to his league-best 1.62 ERA and 86 strikeouts. However, plenty of high-end arms are putting together sensational seasons and vying for the top spot on the oddsboard.

Jacob Misiorowski is Sánchez's biggest threat. The 6-foot-7 flamethrower leads the league in strikeouts with 100 in 64 innings pitched and boasts a 1.83 ERA and 0.83 WHIP. Misiorowski mowed down 12 Cardinals in the Brewers' 5-1 victory Monday, marking his fifth start with 10 or more strikeouts this season.
Paul Skenes, the reigning NL Cy Young winner, is the third favorite at +450. Skenes was roughed up in his last start against the Blue Jays, allowing a career-high nine hits. The Pirates right-hander was the preseason favorite, but his odds lengthened after he allowed a combined nine earned runs in his last two starts. Still, Skenes' ERA sits at 3.00 with a 0.83 WHIP. His dominance over the past two seasons has earned oddsmakers' respect.
Chris Sale and Shohei Ohtani are the final two pitchers with odds below +1000. Sale, who won the NL Cy Young in 2024, owns a 1.89 ERA with 72 punchouts, both ranking him in the top five among NL pitchers.
Ohtani is the overwhelming favorite to win the NL MVP at -500 odds. Voters will likely reward baseball's unicorn for another incredible season with that award and opt to go elsewhere with the Cy Young. Ohtani has outstanding pitching numbers, including a 0.74 ERA in eight starts. However, he hasn't met the minimum innings requirement, so he can't be considered the leader in the NL.
Barring injuries, this five-horse race will be one to watch all summer long.
