The Milwaukee Brewers walked off the New York Yankees 4-3 in 10 innings Saturday after a decision by reliever Tim Hill didn't work out the way he planned.

With runners on first and second and one out, Hill fielded a ball and opted to throw to third base instead of taking the sure out at first. However, the left-hander's throw hit baserunner Luis Rengifo, loading the bases.

Hill's decision cost the Yankees an out and left him to face William Contreras. Contreras proceeded to hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Rengifo for the winning run after Aaron Judge's throw sailed wide of the plate.

It was the first walk-off win for Milwaukee this season.

"I think I made a good pitch and a bad decision afterward," Hill said postgame, according to YES Network. "I feel like my instincts told me third, and my instincts were wrong."

Contreras had two of the Brewers' six hits and drove in two on the night.

New York wasted a strong start from Cam Schlittler, who lowered his ERA to 1.35 after tossing six scoreless innings with six strikeouts.

The Brewers will attempt to sweep the Yankees on Sunday.

Logan Henderson gets the start for Milwaukee, opposite Carlos Ródon for New York. Ródon will make his first start of the season after working his way back from elbow surgery.
