Dodgers extend Muncy on 1-year, $10M deal, re-sign Kiké Hernández

The Los Angeles Dodgers and infielder Max Muncy agreed to a one-year, $10-million contract extension Thursday.

Muncy, a two-time All-Star, will earn $7 million in 2027 with a $3-million buyout. The deal also includes a $10-million club option for 2028.

The three-time World Series champion will make $10 million this season.

Muncy, 35, has hit 209 homers with 587 RBIs and an .843 OPS over 924 games with the Dodgers since 2018.

The 10-year veteran is the franchise's all-time playoff home run leader with 16 in 79 contests.

The Dodgers are also brought back utility player Enrique Hernández, who confirmed the deal Thursday in an Instagram post.

His one-year contract is worth $4.5 million, the Dodgers announced.

Hernández, who's won three titles with Los Angeles, hit 10 homers with 35 RBIs and a .621 OPS in 92 games last season.
