Soto joins Dominican Republic for upcoming WBC

New York Mets superstar outfielder Juan Soto is suiting up for the Dominican Republic in the 2026 World Baseball Classic.

Soto is returning to the WBC after recording two home runs, three doubles, three RBIs, and three walks to go along with a 1.500 OPS over four games during the 2023 event.

The 2025 NL MVP finalist joins a loaded Dominican squad that will also feature other MLB stars such as Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Fernando Tatis Jr., Julio Rodríguez, Ketel Marte, Manny Machado, and Junior Caminero.

Full WBC rosters will be announced Thursday for the tournament, which runs March 5-17 in Miami, Houston, San Juan (Puerto Rico), and Tokyo.
