Report: Giants, Bader agree to 2-year, $20.5M deal
The San Francisco Giants agreed to a two-year contract with outfielder Harrison Bader, a source told The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal.
Bader's deal is worth $20.5 million and can reach $21 million through incentives, according to the New York Post's Jon Heyman.
Bader hit .277/.347/.449 with 17 home runs, 54 RBIs, and 11 steals in 146 games between the Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies last season. His .824 OPS in 50 contests with the Phillies marked a career best.
The 31-year-old is also a terrific defender, accumulating 51 defensive runs saved in center field throughout his career.
The Giants plan to utilize Harrison Bader primarily in center field, source says.

He should help improve a Giants outfield that ranked near the bottom of the majors in defensive runs saved and outs above average in 2025.

The Giants pivoted to Bader after reportedly failing to land infielder CJ Abrams from the Washington Nationals in a trade.
