Blue Jays' Springer not starting Game 4, Bichette to DH
The Toronto Blue Jays don't have George Springer in the starting lineup for Game 4 of the World Series after the star slugger sustained an injury in Game 3.
Bo Bichette will take Springer's spot as DH and hit third, while Isiah Kiner-Falefa slots in at second base. Nathan Lukes will bat in Springer's customary leadoff spot, while Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hits second. The Blue Jays also moved Addison Barger from seventh into the cleanup slot.

Springer underwent an MRI on Monday night after injuring his side in the seventh inning.
The Blue Jays' Game 4 lineup release was delayed while the team awaited word on Springer's availability. About an hour before the lineup was announced, manager John Schneider described the former World Series MVP's status as "hour-to-hour, day-to-day," according to Sportsnet's Shi Davidi. It's unclear if Springer will be available to pinch hit.
Springer's been banged up during the Blue Jays' World Series run. The 36-year-old had to leave Game 5 of the ALCS early after taking a pitch off his kneecap, although he returned to the lineup two days later. He also missed time in August with a concussion.
“Whenever the season’s over you guys will be surprised to hear how much he’s grinded physically,” John Schneider said about George Springer.

Springer is hitting .246/.323/.561 with four homers and nine RBIs this postseason, but he's just 3-for-11 during the World Series.
