The Washington Nationals and infielder Amed Rosario agreed to a one-year contract, the club announced Wednesday.
The pact is worth $2 million, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network.
Rosario slashed .280/.306/.380 with three homers, 32 RBIs, and 13 stolen bases over a combined 103 games between the Tampa Bay Rays, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Cincinnati Reds last season.
The 29-year-old finished in the 72nd percentile in arm strength and 91st percentile in sprint speed, according to Baseball Savant.
Washington has now added Rosario, Josh Bell, and Michael Soroka this offseason. The club also re-signed Trevor Williams.
