Rhys Hoskins won't be testing free agency this offseason.
The Brewers first baseman exercised his $18-million option to return to Milwaukee next year, the club announced Friday, according to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com.
The 31-year-old recorded 26 homers with 82 RBIs and a .722 OPS over 131 games in 2024 for the NL Central-winning Brewers.
Hoskins joined Milwaukee last winter after missing all of the 2023 campaign due to a torn left ACL.
The seven-year veteran spent his first six seasons with the Philadelphia Phillies. He owns a .238/.346/.481 slash line with 174 homers and 487 RBIs over 798 career games.
