Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy tied a postseason record by reaching base in 12 consecutive plate appearances.
Muncy matched the mark set by Reggie Jackson during the 1977 and '78 playoffs with a seventh-inning single off New York Mets reliever Phil Maton in Game 4 of the NLCS at Citi Field.

Two innings earlier, he set a new single-postseason record by reaching in 11 straight PAs by drawing a walk. The single-postseason record previously belonged to Billy Hatcher of the 1990 Cincinnati Reds and David Ortiz of the 2007 Boston Red Sox.
The Mets finally ended Muncy's run when Danny Young struck him out in the eighth inning.
Muncy's streak began with a home run off the Mets' Sean Manaea in the fifth inning of Game 2. Over the course of his run, he hit two homers and two singles while drawing eight walks - three of which came in Thursday's Game 4.
The 34-year-old is now hitting .286/.474/.643 with three homers, five RBIs, and nine walks across 38 plate appearances this postseason.
