Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Nick Castellanos praised Tampa Bay Rays manager Kevin Cash for apologizing after Rays reliever Edwin Uceta hit him with a pitch during Tuesday's game.
"Cash came over to me while I was hitting early with (son) Liam and apologized for it and said all the right things and sincere about it, so just moving forward," Castellanos said, per NBC Sports Philadelphia.
Uceta is serving a two-game suspension for hitting Castellanos in the back, causing the benches to clear. Cash received an automatic one-game suspension, which he served during Wednesday's game.

"I think that it's awesome that they recognize that there was foul play. ... I have respect for Cash for being honest and sticking up, and there's a right way to play the game, and there's a wrong way to play the game. And just admitting that is all that I could ask for," Castellanos added.
The Phillies defeated the Rays 3-2 on Wednesday to sweep a three-game series. Castellanos hit his 20th home run of the season in the victory.
