San Diego Padres All-Star outfielder Jurickson Profar left Wednesday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates in the sixth inning after getting hit close to his knee by a 95-mph fastball from reliever Hunter Stratton.

Profar stayed in the game but was eventually lifted for a pinch runner after a visit from manager Mike Shildt and a trainer.
Shildt said postgame that Profar is day-to-day after X-rays came back negative, according to AJ Cassavell of MLB.com.
The 31-year-old is enjoying a career season, slashing .300/.394/.490 with 19 homers and 71 RBIs over 113 games. He's eligible to test free agency in the offseason.
