The Chicago Cubs placed outfielder Cody Bellinger on the 10-day injured list with a fractured left middle finger, the club announced Thursday.
Bellinger left Wednesday's game against the Baltimore Orioles after he was hit by a pitch from Cionel Pérez.

The Cubs recalled outfielder Alexander Canario to take Bellinger's spot on the roster.
Bellinger will be shut down entirely through the All-Star break, according to Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune. The Cubs are hoping he'll return in late July, though it's not clear exactly how long it will take him to recover.
"Extremely disappointed, (and) frustrated," Bellinger told Montemurro.
Bellinger is hitting .269 with nine home runs, 37 RBIs, five stolen bases, and a .741 OPS across 79 games this season. The 28-year-old re-signed with the Cubs in February on a three-year, $80-million contract with opt-outs after each of the first two seasons.
Canario has hit 16 home runs with 43 RBIs and a .832 OPS in 231 at-bats at Triple-A this season. The 24-year-old has also appeared in 13 games for the Cubs this year, posting an .815 OPS with one home run and a pair of RBIs.
