The San Diego Padres placed right-handers Yu Darvish and Joe Musgrove on the 15-day injured list Saturday, the team announced.
Darvish landed on the IL with a left groin strain, and his placement is retroactive to May 30. Musgrove has right elbow inflammation, and his placement is retroactive to May 29.
Musgrove's injury is a recurrence of a triceps/elbow issue that sidelined him last month, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune's Kevin Acee, who adds that it's likely not a season-ending ailment.
Darvish and Musgrove are responsible for 21 combined starts this season, although the latter is in the midst of a down year.
