Texas Rangers manager Bruce Bochy believes third base umpire Erich Bacchus made the wrong call in overturning a foul tip that originally resulted in a strikeout in the seventh inning of a 5-3 loss to the Minnesota Twins on Saturday.

Home plate umpire Laz Diaz initially signaled that Twins second baseman Edouard Julien struck out on a foul tip but deferred to Bacchus, who changed the call. Bochy, who at one point appeared to offer the umpires his glasses, was ejected for arguing the controversial play:

"I don't know how you make that call at third base, there's no way he could've seen it enough to overturn it," Bochy said postgame, according to Bally Sports Southwest. "He was wrong, first of all. That's a shame, it really is."

Bacchus also ejected Rangers left-hander Andrew Heaney after the seventh inning.
