A man was detained by airport police in South Korea for allegedly throwing an egg at Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts during the team's arrival Friday, according to Hyung-Jin Kim of The Associated Press.
Police were attempting to determine a motive but were told by the man's family that he has a history of mental illness, Kim added.
The Dodgers and San Diego Padres will play a two-game series against each other March 20-21 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul to begin MLB's regular season. They'll be the first-ever regular-season games to be played in South Korea.
