The Chicago White Sox acquired outfielder Dominic Fletcher from the Arizona Diamondbacks for right-hander Cristian Mena, the clubs announced Saturday.
Fletcher made his MLB debut in 2023, hitting .301 with a pair of home runs and RBIs over 28 games for the Diamondbacks. The 26-year-old owns a career .840 OPS with 42 home runs and 201 RBIs across 356 minor-league games.
Fletcher can play all three outfield spots and could slot into right field alongside Luis Robert Jr. and Andrew Benintendi for White Sox manager Pedro Grifol.
Mena posted an 8-7 record with a 4.85 ERA and 156 strikeouts over 27 starts across two minor-league levels last season.
