The New York Mets signed outfielder Harrison Bader to a one-year contract, they announced Friday.
Bader's deal is worth $10.5 million, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.

Bader went deep seven times with 40 RBIs and a .622 OPS over a combined 98 games between the New York Yankees and Cincinnati Reds during another injury-plagued campaign in 2023.
The 29-year-old has only played in 287 contests over the last three seasons.
However, he's an excellent defensive outfielder when healthy. He ranked in the 95th percentile in range, 82nd in arm value, and 91st in arm strength in 2023.
Bader's best offensive season came in 2021, when he slashed .267/.324/.460 with 16 homers, 21 doubles, and 50 RBIs in 103 games for the St. Louis Cardinals.
