The Toronto Blue Jays are showing serious interest in signing designated hitter/outfielder Joc Pederson, sources told Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.
However, the Arizona Diamondbacks, Los Angeles Angels, and San Francisco Giants are also reportedly in the mix for the two-time All-Star.
Pederson went deep 15 times with 51 RBIs and a .764 OPS over 121 games for the Giants last season.
The 31-year-old has hit 23-plus homers in five different campaigns, including a career-high 36 round-trippers in 2019.
Pederson also owns a .256/.332/.482 slash line with 12 homers over 218 plate appearances in the playoffs. He's won two World Series with the Los Angeles Dodgers (2020) and Atlanta Braves (2021).
