Dodgers, Muncy agree to 2-year, $24M extension
The Los Angeles Dodgers and veteran infielder Max Muncy agreed to a two-year, $24-million contract extension, the club announced Thursday.
The deal also includes a $10-million team option for the 2026 campaign.

Muncy was under contract with the Dodgers through the 2024 season via a $14-million team option.
The 33-year-old enjoyed a strong season for the Dodgers in 2023. The two-time All-Star hit 36 home runs with 105 RBIs and a .808 OPS across 135 games.
Muncy has blossomed into one of baseball's underrated offensive players in his six-season tenure with the Dodgers, posting an .842 OPS with 175 home runs and 472 RBIs in 751 games.
