The performances of Adolis García and Corey Seager left their teammates in awe after the Texas Rangers came from behind to steal Game 1 of the World Series from the Arizona Diamondbacks in extra innings on Friday.

"He's on another planet," Rangers rookie third baseman Josh Jung said of García, who hit a walk-off home run in the 11th inning to down Arizona, according to The Associated Press.

García's round-tripper off D-Backs reliever Miguel Castro was his latest in a series of postseason blasts that have thrust the powerful 30-year-old into the playoff spotlight. The outfielder has eight homers this postseason, with a number of them coming in big moments.

"Every time he steps into the box it's like, grab your popcorn," Jung said. "I have no words. It's just like, wow."

Jung had similar sentiments about Seager, the Rangers shortstop who tied Game 1 in the ninth inning with a two-run blast off of D-Backs closer Paul Sewald, which sent Globe Life Field into a frenzy.

"It's like the script is written for him," Jung said of Seager, according to MLB.com's Kennedi Landry.

"It's truly incredible, the at-bats he puts together night in and night out in the big spots in the big situations."

Jung's teammate Evan Carter, who has been a standout in his own right during the postseason, also marveled at what García and Seager have accomplished this postseason.

"Honestly, right now, it's otherworldly," Carter said. "You've got people like him, Doli, everyone's coming through in big moments like that. That's what you need - people around you that are going to be veterans that are going to come through in those moments like that. And it's just been - gosh, you have all the confidence in the world."

Game 2 between the Rangers and D-Backs gets underway Saturday at 8:03 p.m. ET. Left-hander Jordan Montgomery takes the hill for Texas, while righty Merrill Kelly starts for Arizona.
