The 28-year-old was alert and oriented after being assessed by Pittsburgh team doctors, and he'll undergo further testing at Allegheny General Hospital, the Yankees announced.
New York placed Misiewicz on the concussion injured list Saturday. Right-hander Ian Hamilton was reinstated from the 15-day injured list in a corresponding roster move.
Misiewicz was making only his third appearance since joining New York.
