New York Yankees utility player Marwin Gonzalez left Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers after a return throw from catcher Victor Caratini struck him in the helmet during the third inning.
Gonzalez stepped out of the box in obvious pain after Caratini's throw made impact near his left ear.

Gonzalez said after the game that he felt OK after passing a concussion test.
"I was kind of blacked out for a second, and my legs were a little shaky. I was out for a minute. That's the reason why the trainer didn't want me to keep going," Gonzalez said, according to Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News. "I tried to (stay in the game), but he didn't want me to because he said it wasn't good symptoms."
The 33-year-old also exited the Yankees' 7-6 loss to the Brewers on Friday because of dizziness.
The first-place Yankees have 14 players on their injured list, including DJ LeMahieu and Anthony Rizzo.
Right-hander Frankie Montas is also undergoing an MRI on his throwing shoulder after feeling discomfort during his outing on Friday.
