It doesn't sound like Madison Bumgarner and Victor Robles will be exchanging Christmas cards this year.
Bumgarner took issue with Robles admiring his home run late in the Arizona Diamondbacks' victory over the Washington Nationals. With his team down big in the eighth inning, Robles launched a long home run off the former World Series MVP and seemed to enjoy the moment. The blast cut Arizona's lead to 7-2, which was the final score.

"He's a clown. Golly. No shame. No shame," Bumgarner said of Robles, according to Jake Anderson of Arizona Sports 98.7. "It's 7-1, you hit your third home run of the year, (and) you act like Barry Bonds breaking the record. Clean it up.
"I don't care about giving up the run. Hell, we won 7-2. That's frustrating. I'm the old, grumpy guy, I know, but that type of stuff didn't used to happen. Now, that's ridiculous."
Robles didn't bat an eye when told of Bumgarner's criticism, instead taking a shot of his own at the veteran southpaw.
"When he's pitching well, he's able to celebrate and do what he likes to do. It seems like he calls everybody a clown that actually has a big hit or a home run against him," Robles said, according to MASN's Mark Zuckerman. "If he doesn't want anybody hitting a home run against him ... just keep striking people out."
Robles scored both of Washington's runs and stole a base in his team's loss. The homer was his third of the season and the second in his last three games.
Bumgarner, meanwhile, turned in one of his best outings in a D-Backs uniform. The 32-year-old allowed just four hits over eight innings of work while striking out nine.
